Just in case some of us are a bit behind, Stephenie Meyer Day has added two new events to the event page!

It seems as though our very own Rosalie Hale has a couple of mischievous tricks up her sleeve to keep us all entertained friday night at the 18+ bachelorette party she is hosting for Bella!

John Henson and Twilight Film Director, Catherine Hardwicke

John Henson, costume designer for The Hillywood Show and owner of the largest collection of privately owned screen-worn and replica “Twilight Saga” costumes and props, will be appearing at Stephenie Meyer Day 2012!

“We are very excited John has accepted our invitation again this year” said Staci Chastain, SMD 2012 Talent Manager. She also added that John will be doing a display of his full collection. It’s never been seen in its entirety until now! “It’s an honor to do this for Staci and Stephenie Meyer Day! I feel like I’m with “my people” when I can share the things I’ve acquired, both original and the ones I’ve designed and built for The Hillywood Show parodies!” John said.

John comes from a long line of costume collectors; being a second generation collector himself. He and his family own a large collection of rare props and costumes from “The Wizard of Oz”. John’s personal collection spans theatre, movie, television and music.

Mr. Henson’s costuming career started in the theatre where he most recently was the Costume Designer for Regional productions of “RENT” and “HAIR”. He was lead to volunteer with Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and their famous Broadway Bears auction. He has been fortunate to work with major productions on Broadway such as “RENT”, “WICKED”, Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast”, Broadway’s Revival of “Cabaret” and “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” and “Legally Blonde”. John’s attention to detail is proven when retrofitting famous theatre costumes for the Broadway Bears; some of which have sold at the charity auction for over $30,000.00!

In Forks this year you will not only see the Twilight costumes but also the custom designed costumes for The Hillywood Show parodies. John will be available for questions and answers during specified times throughout the weekend.

I refuse to acknowledge this idea in any way, even when Edward finally gets over his little guilt trip and turns her. If she WERE to beat me it would be a fluke anyway. My record stands undefeated and will remain so; regardless of Ms. Swan’s mortal/immortal status!

That having been said, at this year’s SMD, I challenge ANY Newborn, human, wolf, or purple alien to an arm wrestling match!
